Dangote Refinery Cuts Petrol Gantry Price

Dangote Petroleum Refinery announced the slash from #*828 to #699 per litre this week, its 20th adjustment in 2025, targeting new and existing customers with bulk deals of 500,000 litres or more.

Private depots followed suit at #710, while pump prices at partner stations like MRS sit at #*739 and NNPC around +7875-1$900 in cities.

The move coincides with resignations of regulators Farouk Ahmed and Gbenga Komolafe on December 17, amid unproven corruption claims by Aliko Dangote, who faces monopoly concerns despite promises of further drops as output grows.

For everyday drivers, lower gantry rates promise gradual pump relief through local refining.
